Everyone should be a member of a local, Word-based, Holy Spirit-filled congregation. We hope
that you are presently a member of such a church. However, we understand that you may be in
circumstances that prohibit your ability to regularly attend church services, such as poor health or
lack of reliable transportation. You may also be a dedicated member of another church and simply
wish to partner with the anointing that is on Bishop Bob and Word of Truth. In recognition of that,
we offer e-membership at Word of Truth as a way for you to be "connected" to us and our
ministry.

1. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING AN E-MEMBER?

Answer:

Prayer Covering -- As an e-member, our Pastor and staff will pray for you as they do for our regular congregation.

Spiritual Covering - You will have the covering of God that is on WOT operating in your life.

Relational Covering - Although we are not physically with you, our congregation wishes to support you in spirit. Please let us know your prayer requests and testimonies of victory, in order that we may "sorrow with those who sorrow and laugh with those who laugh."

Of course, there are many services WOT provides for our regular members that we physically cannot provide for our e-members, such as hospital visitation, partaking of the Communion elements, physical anointing with oil and laying on of hands, hosting showers, as well as performing weddings and funerals. That is why it is important to be connected to a local
congregation, if possible, as well as connecting to the anointing that is on WOT.

2. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS OF BECOMING A WORD OF TRUTH E-MEMBER?

Answer:

A. You must first of all read our "Things We Believe" page and agree with our basic foundational doctrinal beliefs.

B. You must be committed to partaking of the ministry of WOT. This is done by diligently listening to the sermons offered, studying devotional material offered, etc.

C. You must diligently pray for us as we pray for you!

D. As an e-member of Word of Truth you must be committed to furthering the Kingdom of God everywhere you go.

3. CAN I BE BOTH AN E-MEMBER AND A REGULAR MEMBER OF WOT?

Answer: If you regularly come to the services at WOT and also regularly access our website, you may be both. However, most people who are able will choose to attend the services, while those who are not will choose e-membership. As mentioned, you may also be a member of a church local to your area while being an e-member of WOT.

4. HOW DO I BECOME AN E-MEMBER?

Answer: Fill out our electronic form and submit it to us.

5. IS THERE A FINANCIAL COMMITMENT?

Answer: There is no financial commitment or pledge to joining WOT as an e-member. We do, however, strongly believe that God gave us tithing as a way to give Him legal access to our finances. Because of that, we hope that you are regularly tithing a tenth of your income to a Word-based church or ministry, as well as giving offerings. Partner with God in blessing you!
